Many women in midlife reach a moment of reinvention — a desire to reconnect with meaningful, hands-on creativity, purpose, and personal agency. Preservation Labs offers a supportive environment for women 50+ who are exploring new artistic expression, rediscovering their hands, or seeking a community of learners engaged in heritage craft.

Our workshops provide:

  • A calm, focused environment away from daily pressure

  • Opportunities to learn traditional techniques at one’s own pace

  • A welcoming community of peers

While some students may find that new interests lead them toward broader opportunities, our programs are designed primarily for creative exploration, personal growth, and heritage craft learning — not job certification or vocational outcomes.

No experience is needed. Many of our most dedicated learners never expected to enjoy craft until they tried it here.
